Fall Event 2024

Innovation management faces a critical turning point. Many companies are drastically reducing or even eliminating their innovative ambitions to focus on core business operations. What was once considered an essential investment in the future is increasingly viewed as a financial burden.

Many trends and ideas of the past decade fell short of their potential or could not be successfully integrated into business as they were too disconnected from existing portfolios. The results did not provide enough impact. Therefore, many boards are no longer willing to make large-scale investments in innovation projects and structures. Nonetheless, drastically cutting innovation efforts, as we are witnessing in many organizations today, is too extreme of a reaction and disregards valuable learnings. So, what is the path forward?

Innovation management must redefine itself if it wants to stay or get back on the road of success. Some ActionJam-Members have found new ways to develop their activities to meet the expectations of their management. At the upcoming ActionJam Fall Event, we will share perspectives on rethinking innovation management. Expect enriching insights from C-level executives, corporate-start-up-investors, university experts, established innovation managers, as well as international tech giants.
